Tests are to start 10 a.m. Thursday and be open to all, according to the notice. The FCC has received for testing devices from Motorola, Microsoft, Philips and Silicon Valley-based start-up Adaptrum, Office of Engineering and Technology Chief Julius Knapp said at the FCC’s open meeting Thursday. He said further tests will start “very shortly.”
