Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., told reporters that the chamber is unlikely to reconvene until Sept. 29, leaving less than two days until FY 2025 funding expires. “Eventually, it's going to be an up or down vote on whether [Democrats] want to keep the government open,” he said.
