OptimERA isn't a recipient of USF high-cost support, “nor is it actively involved in the bidding process as the application window for the Alaska Connect Fund has not yet opened,” the filing said. “Because the FCC has not yet established a timeline for distribution of Alaska Connect Fund support to mobile carriers in Alaska, OptimERA could not provide a timeline for when it might receive such support,” the carrier said. Because no auction had been scheduled, OptimERA couldn’t “predict the nature or scope of ... its potential Alaska Connect Fund support.”
