“On Friday at approximately 9:41 p.m., a woman in her mid-30s was walking in the 1100 block of Madison Street after exiting the Braddock Metro Station when she was approached from behind by the suspect,” the police news release said. The suspect "grabbed her and wrestled her to the ground, attempting to restrain her. The victim bravely resisted, shoved the suspect away, and ran to safety before calling 911.” Police confirmed a second attack at the Potomac Yard Metro Station. Between the two incidents, Gary was charged with assault and battery, sexual battery and two counts of abduction with force.
