USTR Extends Section 301 Exclusions by 3 Months

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative has extended by three months certain current exclusions to its Section 301 investigation related to U.S. trade with China.

This extension is effective from June 1 to before 11:59 p.m. EDT on Aug. 31 for goods entered for consumption or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, USTR said on May 31.

The exclusions apply to those goods entered under heading 9903.88.69 and U.S. notes 20(vvv)(i), 20(vvv)(ii), 20(vvv)(iii), and 20(vvv)(iv) to subchapter III of chapter 99 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the U.S. They also apply to those goods under heading 9903.88.70 and U.S. note 20(www) to subchapter III of chapter 99 of the HTSUS.
