the coalition said. “The truth of the matter is that the benefits will only flow to those retail customers who are subject to substantial competition,” said a filing Tuesday in docket 24-445. “Nothing will change for Frontier’s access customers in those same markets.” They won’t “receive the benefits of additional investments in today’s standard technology,” fiber and IP connections, and “will remain bound to obsolete technology forced on them by Verizon and Frontier.”
