State Dept. Approves 4 Military Sales

The State Department approved possible military sales to Australia, India, Norway and Romania, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency announced last week.

The sale to Australia includes $300 million worth of “AH-64E Apache Sustainment Support Services" and related equipment, and the principal contractors would be Boeing and Lockheed Martin.

India would buy $52.8 million worth of “Anti-Submarine Warfare Sonobuoys" and related equipment, and the principal contractor would be either Sparton Corp., Undersea Sensor Systems or both.

Norway would buy $405 million worth of “Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles–Extended Range" and related equipment, and the principal contractor would be RTX Corp.

The sale to Romania includes $592 million worth of "AIM-120 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles" and related equipment, and the principal contractor would be RTX Corp.
