State Dept. Approves Military Sales to Canada, South Korea

The State Department approved two potential military sales, to Canada and South Korea, worth more than $300 million combined.

The sale to Canada includes $138 million worth of military-related telecommunications services and “related elements of logistics and program support.” The principal contractor will be General Dynamics.

The sale to South Korea includes “Subsonic Sea-Skimming Aerial Targets for KDX-III Batch-II AEGIS Class Destroyers” and related equipment for $170.6 million. The principal contractors will be Kratos Defense and Northrop Grumman.
