State Dept. Approves Military Sales to Greece, Croatia

The State Department approved two potential military sales, to Greece and Croatia, worth more than $9 billion combined, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Jan. 26.

The sale to Greece includes $8.6 billion worth of “Joint Strike Fighter Conventional Take Off and Landing (CTOL) aircraft” and related equipment. The principal contractors will be Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company and Pratt & Whitney Military Engines.

A $500 million sale to Croatia includes “UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters” and related equipment and services. The principal contractor will be Lockheed Martin/Sikorsky.
