Appeals of CIT Decisions
The following appeals of Court of International Trade decisions were recently filed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit:
M S International, Inc., challenging the Commerce Department's final determination that it had adequate industry support to launch antidumping and countervailing duty investigations into quartz surface products from India. #22-1077. Opened Oct. 19.
Government of Canada, Marcel Lauzon Inc., Les Produits Forestiers D&G Ltee, North American Forest Products Ltd., Parent-Violette Gestion Ltee, Le Groupe Parent Ltee, Scierie Alexandre Lemay & Fils Inc., Government of Quebec, Mobilier Rustique (Beauce) Inc. and Government of the Province of New Brunswick, challenging an Aug. 18 CIT decision sustaining the Commerce Department's remand results finding that it lacked the statutory authority to conduct countervailing duty expedited reviews. #22-1078.
