CBP will also consolidate deferred tax entry bills on a semimonthly basis into one bill viewable in ACE. CBP is also “removing current policy restrictions on the filing of entries with deferred taxes and eliminating the now unnecessary Semi-Monthly Excise Tax Form (Greater than 50) for importers who pay deferred taxes through Pay.gov,” it said. Those changes will take effect May 1. The agency will also eliminate a “lesser-used payment method available through Fedwire,” as of July 1, it said.
