New phase one features will include the ability to "save down information for commodities, manifests, or bills," different bill of lading types, and indicators of whether an entry is on file for each bill of lading, CBP said. Also to be added is a "Type-Ahead Search Field" that "enables quick access to account information, eliminating the need for multiple screen clicks reducing manifest and bill creation time." CBP expects the second phase to begin in the winter of 2020, it said. Timing for the third phase is still being decided, the agency said.
