D-N.J., Jan. 11 requested an emergency briefing from FCC Chairman Ajit Pai on the issue. The agency declined, citing the partial government shutdown. An agency spokesperson on Thursday confirmed Friday's meeting, but declined to say whether Pai or commissioners will attend.
