about the 42, 47 and 50 GHz bands. “SES discussed the Commission’s proposals … and how to revise those proposals to better accommodate FSS interests,” the company said in docket 14-177. “Portions of the 47 GHz band are identified for High-Density FSS use and that the propagation characteristics of the 42, 47 and 50 GHz bands can facilitate more permissive FSS access to these bands, consistent with the Commission’s goals for 5G.”
