Price-cap telco and FCC briefs last year argued the merits of commission decisions leaving carriers subject to unsubsidized legacy USF voice duties on an interim basis in areas where they don't receive new broadband-oriented Connect America Fund support (see 1607120073, 1609070029 and 1609300037).
