In Intel's $15.3 billion buy of Mobileye (see 1703130015), the two companies said the global autonomous driving organization of Mobileye and Intel Automated Driving Group will be led by Mobileye founder-Chairman-Chief Technology Officer Amnon Shashua, and Intel Senior Vice President Doug Davis will oversee the combined organization’s engagement across Intel’s businesses, reporting to Shashua; Mobileye co-founder-President-CEO Ziv Aviram and Shashua write they will continue running that firm.

At Yahoo, being acquired by Verizon, the acquiree said in an SEC filing that Arthur Chong, an outside legal adviser to the firm, has become general counsel-secretary; previously, Ronald Bell resigned from those jobs (see this section of the March 3 issue of this publication); following the closing of the purchase, after which Yahoo will be renamed Altaba, Thomas McInerney, ex-IAC, will be named CEO; Chong will remain in current posts; Vice President-Global Controller Alexi Wellman will move to chief financial and accounting officer; and outside legal adviser to Yahoo DeAnn Fairfield Work will be chief compliance officer; until takeover is completed, Marissa Mayer remains CEO, and Kenneth Goldman continues as CFO.
