U.S. companies that have signed on to the pledge, it said Friday. "Verizon's commitment to [the American Business Act on Climate] is more than a single pledge," said Chief Sustainability Officer James Gowen. "This commitment allows us to continue to assess how we are becoming more energy efficient even as our business expands."
