The meeting begins at 10:15 a.m. National Constitution Center CEO Jeffrey Rosen will kick-off the day with a welcome, followed by a panel on “Separation of Powers and History of E.O. 12333.” Panelists include University of Texas Law School professor Robert Chesney, University of Chicago Law School professor Aziz Huq, Benjamin Cardozo School of Law professor Deborah Pearlstein and University of Texas-Austin Intelligence Studies Project Director Stephen Slick. The second panel on “First and Fourth Amendment Implications of E.O. 12333 Activities: The Impact of New Technologies,” includes George Washington University Law School professor Orin Kerr, New York University School of Law professor Katherine Strandburg, University of Virginia School of Law professor Robert Turner and American University Washington College of Law professor Steve Vladeck. The third panel on “E.O. 12333 in Practice,” includes Beacon Global Strategies Managing Director Michael Allen, Visiting Scholar at Brown University’s Watson Institute Timothy Edgar, Third Way's National Security Program Director Mieke Eoyang and Matt Olsen, ABC News contributor and former director of the National Counterterrorism Center.
