Several of the channels specialize in movies “providing significant long-range opportunities for AMC Networks to distribute its original programming from AMC, IFC, Sundance Channel and WE tv across an expansive global footprint,” said AMC. The integration of Chellomedia into AMC Networks’ will be overseen by AMC Chief Operating Officer Ed Carroll, who will also oversee AMC’s other international business, AMC/Sundance Channel Global.
