CV: China Certain Ribbons with Woven Selvedge

The International Trade Administration has issued a fact sheet announcing its upcoming preliminary affirmative determination that countervailable subsidies are being provided to producers and exporters of narrow woven ribbons with woven selvedge from China.

CV Liquidation to be Suspended Upon Federal Register Publication

The ITA will direct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to suspend liquidation for CV purposes of all entries of narrow woven ribbons with woven selvedge from China (except entries by Yama, which has been assigned a de minimis CV duty rate) with a time of entry on or after the publication date of the preliminary determination in the Federal Register1.

CV Duty Cash Deposits to be Collected

The ITA will also direct CBP to require a cash deposit or bond for CV duty purposes for entries of subject merchandise from China (except entries by Yama) with a time of entry on or after the publication date of the preliminary determination in the Federal Register at the following CV duty rates:

Producer/Exporter
Yama Ribbons and Bows Co., Ltd.
Changtai Rongshu Textile Co., Ltd.
All Others

(a) The ITA has found a preliminary de minimis CV duty rate of 0.29% for Yama; therefore, no CV duty cash deposit will be required.
