Still no Suspension of CV Liquidation/Bond, Investigation to Terminate
The ITA has calculated a final de minimis CV duty rate for Incheon Metal Co., Ltd., which is the only producer/exporter of the subject merchandise under investigation. Therefore, the all-others CV duty rate is also de minimis.
Because the ITA also preliminarily found a de minimis CV duty rate for Incheon and therefore did not suspend liquidation, the ITA continues not to direct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to suspend liquidation of entries of Ni-resist pistons from Korea, and no CV duty cash deposits will be collected.
The ITA will also terminate the CV duty investigation on imports of piston inserts from Korea.
(See ITA notice for additional information, including the scope of the investigation, etc.
See ITT's Online Archives or 07/06/09 news, 09070655, for BP summary of the ITA's preliminary negative CV duty determination for Korea and preliminary affirmative CV duty determination for Argentina.)
