CV: China Certain Tow Behind Lawn Groomers & Parts

The International Trade Administration has made a preliminary affirmative countervailing duty determination that countervailable subsidies are being provided to producers and exporters of certain tow behind lawn groomers and certain parts thereof from China.

CV suspension of liquidation (except Princeway). Except for Princeway, which has a de miminis CV duty rate, the ITA is directing U.S. Customs and Border Protection to suspend (for CV duty purposes) the liquidation of all entries of subject merchandise from China with a time of entry on or after November 24, 2008.

CV cash deposit/bond. The ITA will also instruct CBP to require a cash deposit or the posting of a bond at the CV rates listed below for entries of subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after November 24, 2008 for the following exporters/manufacturers:

Final CV Duty Determination Aligned with Final AD Duty Determination

The ITA is also aligning the final CV duty determination with the final determination in the companion antidumping investigation of lawn groomers from China. The final CV duty determination will be issued on the same date as the final AD duty determination, which is currently scheduled to be issued no later than April 6, 2009, unless postponed.
