AD: China Fresh Garlic

The International Trade Administration has issued the final results of its antidumping duty new shipper reviews of fresh garlic from China for the period of November 1, 2006 through May 17, 20071.

(a) For subject merchandise (1) exported by QTF or Grenning, but not manufactured by QTF or Greening, respectively, (2) exported by Golden Bird but not manufactured by Hongyang, and (3) exported by Yongjia but not manufactured by Shanfu, the AD cash deposit rate will continue to be the China-wide entity rate (i.e., 376.67%); and

(b) For subject merchandise manufactured by QTF or Greening, but exported by any other party, the AD cash deposit rate will be the rate applicable to the exporter.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (11/01/06 - 05/17/07)

The ITA will direct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assess importer-specific rates based on the resulting per-unit (i.e., per kilogram) amount on each entry of the subject merchandise during the period of review that is above de minimis. These instructions will be issued to CBP 15 days after September 29, 2008.
