CV: China Lightweight Thermal Paper
The International Trade Administration has made a final affirmative countervailing duty determination that countervailable subsidies are being provided to certain producers and exporters of lightweight themal paper (LWTP) from China.

CV Liquidation Suspended Through July 11th
The ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to continue the CV suspension of liquidation and CV cash deposit/bond requirements for entries of LWTP from China (except Hanhong) with a time of entry from March 14, 2008 to July 11, 2008.
CV Liquidation Reinstated Beginning July 12th
The ITA previously instructed CBP to discontinue the CV suspension of liquidation and CV cash deposit/bond requirements for subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after July 12, 2008. This gap period remains in effect until a CV order (if any) is in effect. Any entries during this gap period will not be liable for CV duties.
CV Liquidation to be Suspended Again, Cash Deposit, if CV Order Issued
If the ITC issues a final affirmative CV injury determination, the ITA will then issue a CV duty order, reinstate the CV suspension of liquidation, and require a cash deposit of estimated CV duties for entries of subject merchandise at the rates listed below:
(If the ITC determines that CV material injury or threat of material injury does not exist, the CV proceeding will be terminated and all securities posted will be refunded or canceled.)
