AD: Vietnam Certain Frozen Warmwater Shrimp

The International Trade Administration has issued its final results of the antidumping duty administrative review of certain frozen warmwater shrimp from Vietnam for the period of February 1, 2006 through January 31, 2007.

(a) The ITA has calculated a de minimis AD duty rate of 0.01% for Minh Phat Seafood, and an AD duty rate of zero for CAMIMEX, Grobest, and Viet Hai Seafoods Company, therefore, no cash deposit will be collected for these companies; however, they will remain subject to the order;

(b) For previously investigated or reviewed Vietnamese and non-Vietnamese exporters not listed above that have separate rates, the AD cash deposit rate will continue to be the exporter-specific rate published for the most recent period;

(c) For all Vietnamese exporters of subject merchandise which have not been found to be entitled to a separate rate, the cash deposit rate will be the Vietnamese-wide rate of 25.76 percent; and

(d) For all non-Vietnamese exporters of subject merchandise which have not received their own rate, the cash deposit rate will be the rate applicable to the Vietnamese exporters that supplied that non-Vietnamese exporter.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (02/01/06 - 01/31/07)

The ITA intends to issue assessment instructions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) 15 days after September 9, 2008. The ITA states that it will calculate importer-specific (or customer-specific) ad valorem duty assessment rates for subject merchandise.

The ITA will instruct CBP to assess AD duties on all appropriate entries covered by this review if any importer-specific assessment rate calculated in the final results of this review is above de minimis.
