Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (01/01/06 - 12/31/06)
The ITA intends to issue assessment instructions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection 15 days after August 20, 2008.
For customers or importers of the respondents that did not report entered value, the ITA calculated customer or importer-specific AD duty assessment rates. For customers or importers of the respondents that reported entered value, the ITA calculated customer-specific AD duty assessment rates.
For the companies receiving a separate rate that were not selected for individual review (the separate rate respondents), the ITA calculated an assessment rate based on the weighted average of the cash deposit rates calculated for the companies selected for individual review excluding any that are zero, de minimis, or based entirely on adverse facts available (AFA).
(See ITA notice for more information, including the scope of the order, etc.
See ITT's Online Archives or 02/25/08 news, 08022545, for BP summary of the preliminary results of these AD duty administrative and new shipper reviews.)
