Updated List of ACE & Other System Changes Scheduled for Deployment

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has posted an updated version of its "ACE Workplan Schedule," which provides a list of the changes and/or fixes to the Automated Commercial Environment and other systems it interfaces with that were scheduled for deployment on May 31, 2008 and June 21, 2008.

This list of changes contains either the change request (CR) code, or the problem tracking report (PTR) code, as well an explanation of the change:

PTR 19369EDI: Corrects instances of Error Message 513 (Mismatch of Codes at Trip) not being returned to the carrier when they have filed a 358 including the M13 segment with a wrong action code in M1303.
PTR 19483EDI: Corrects instances of ACE not sending Error Message 21 (Invalid Weight Unit Error) in the 355 message
PTR 19704EDI: Corrects instances of SCAC codes not being returned in the CUSRES for unassociated shipments.
PTR 19728EDI: Corrects instances of Error Message 465 (complete crew information not filed) when attempting to complete an empty trip using the ACE ID to identify the driver
PTR 19729EDI: Corrects instances of Error Message 210 (Invalid Equipment Description Code) when a carrier uses EDIFACT to file a manifest and uses 'CHA' (Chassis) as the equipment type
PTR 19962EDI: Addition of the following identity description codes: J3 - Authorized entity, NP - Notify Party (For CBSA), XR - Mexican Customs broker, and Z1 - Party to receive Status
PTR 20075EDI: Corrects instances of ACE not returning Error Message 204 (No Man Unit Code for BL) when a carrier files a manifest and fails to include the Manifest Unit Code in the N1010
PTR 20076EDI: Corrects instances of ACE not returning the error code in the 355 when a carrier files a manifest using X.12 and that manifest has an invalid bonded carrier code
PTR 20091EDI: Corrects instances when filing a MEDPID to add equipment to an account the return code is for conveyance (CRN) and not equipment (EQ).
PTR 20096EDI: Corrects instances when a carrier files a MEDPID the message returned in the BGM segment should reflect success or failure.
PTR 20159All addresses that are currently validated and standardized by ACE will have additional fields added to the process (such as apartment, suite, etc). This helps prevent bad address data and will help synchronize the addresses with other CBP systems.
PTR 20451EDI: Corrects instances when filing a MEDPID message for adding either a conveyance or equipment, and the preparer SCAC is different from the transmitter SCAC the preparer SCAC is not returned in the UNG segment of the MEDPID response.
