AD: India Certain PET Film, Sheet and Strip
The International Trade Administration has issued its final results of the antidumping duty administrative review of certain polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film, sheet and strip from India for the period of July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006.

AD Cash Deposit Instructions for a Time of Entry on or after 02/07/08:

(a) The ITA has determined a de minimis AD duty rate of 0.00% for MTZ, therefore, no cash deposit will be required for MTZ; however, it is still subject to the order;
(b) For previously reviewed or investigated companies not covered in this review, the AD duty cash deposit rate will continue to be the company-specific rate published for the most recent period;
(c) If the exporter is not a firm covered in this review, a prior review, or the AD investigation, but the manufacturer is a firm covered in this review, the AD duty cash deposit rate will be the rate established for the most recent period for the manufacturer of the subject merchandise; and
(d) If neither the exporter nor the manufacturer is a firm covered in this or any previous proceeding conducted by the ITA, the AD duty cash deposit rate will continue to be 5.71%, which is the all-others rate established in the AD investigation adjusted for the export subsidy rate found in the companion countervailing duty investigation.
Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (07/01/05 - 06/30/06)
The ITA intends to issue assessment instructions to CBP 15 days after February 7, 2008.
The ITA states that it has calculated importer-specific duty assessment rates for subject merchandise, which trade sources note may differ significantly from the cash deposit rate listed above.
