U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued the Automated Commercial Environment Trade Account Owner June 2010 update. Highlights of the June 2010 update include:
On June 24, 2010, the House Appropriations Committee’s Homeland Security Subcommittee held a mark-up of the fiscal year 2011 appropriations bill for the Department of Homeland Security (including U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Transportation Security Administration). During the mark up, the Subcommittee approved the bill for full Committee action.
CBP has issued the June 2010 ACE Trade Account Owner (TAO) Update. The update covers the creation of declaration records, CBP Form 28, 29, 4647 status report, bond update, recent ACE updates, frequently asked questions, etc.
CBP has issued a CSMS message announcing that it has posted the Periodic Monthly Statement User Guide under “ACE Training and Reference Guides.” The guide provides an overview of benefits and information on obtaining, viewing and processing periodic monthly statements through the ACE portal.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has posted a TSN Leadership network matrix which lists all of the TSN Committees and subcommittees with the Trade and CBP/Gov Co-Chairs and the ACE Support Team (AST) Business Leads. The matrix also includes a list of the current TSN Trade Ambassadors.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a document (Version 2.2) which outlines entry summary processing in the Automated Commercial Environment. Processing entry summaries in ACE will change the system of record for these import related transactions from a paper-based system to a true electronic system of record keeping. A change of this significance requires revised operational policies and procedures and this document will address those changes. This document will be a living document as the different entry summary types and associated downstream processing migrate from the Automated Commercial System (ACS) to ACE.
CBP has posted an updated list of companies/persons who have developed software applications for ACE electronic truck manifest. All companies/persons who are listed have been through the CBP testing process.
