CBP has posted an updated version of its 2010 ACE accomplishments fact sheet. Most recently, in September 2010, CBP trained more than 1000 medium to heavy Entry Summary, Account, and Revenue (ESAR) Post-Summary Corrections (PSC) functionality users from the Office of Field Operations (OFO), Office of International Trade, and Office of Information and Technology (OIT). This two-day training course enabled users to perform additional entry summary tasks using ACE.
On December 7, 2010, Representative Brady (R), current Ranking Member of the House Ways and Means Trade Subcommittee (and likely incoming Subcommittee Chairman) addressed the Chamber of Commerce’s "North American Competitiveness and the Global Supply Chain” Summit, focusing on pending free trade agreements and expiring preference programs.
CBP has posted an updated version of its Excel spreadsheet providing details on ACE programming issues. The spreadsheet includes the issue number, date opened, description, status, scheduled delivery date, and comments.
CBP has issued a CSMS message stating that as of December 6, 2010, a link to the Stow Plan Guidelines under ACE EDI Messages has been removed. Documentation related to stow plans in ACE will remain the same as they are in ACS, unless otherwise noted. The current and appropriate stow plan documents can be found here.
In its ACE Trade Account Owner November 2010 Update, U.S. Customs and Border Protection states that it is still looking for early adopters to participate in the M1 pilot (e-Manifest: Ocean and Rail).
CBP has posted a Trade Support Network Leadership network matrix, which lists all of the TSN Committees and subcommittees with the Trade and CBP/Gov Co-Chairs and the ACE Support Team (AST) Business Leads. The matrix also includes a list of the current TSN Trade Ambassadors.
CBP has issued the November 2010 ACE Trade Account Owner (TAO) Update. Among other things, the TAO update covers the spring 2011 deployment of e-Manifest: Ocean and Rail (M1), an ACE Reports tip on sorting multiple HTS numbers reported on one line item using ESM 7008, CBP's posting of its ITDS ConOps, etc.
