CBP has issued a CSMS message stating that effective December 22, 2010, filers will not be able to specify (using the ACS HP transaction) that an ACE entry summary is to be paid on an individual basis (i.e., Payment Type Code = 1 on the input H-Record), until such time that the preliminary statement has actually been generated. This applies to an ACE entry summary scheduled for either a Daily statement or a Periodic Monthly statement. If the filer attempts to do so, the following error message will be returned: “ACE Summary Required to be on a Statement."
